Effective People Management
A Three Day Workshop based upon Transactional Analysis
Held by John Parr, MSc

November 16, 17, 18,  2006

In modern commercial environments we now recognize the importance of people and effectively managing the human interface, i.e. how we get the most out of people through effective relationships.

In this workshop, people are the focus.

To be effective as a manager, sales person, team leader or employee, a clear frame of reference about the origins and transformation of behavior is necessary.

In this three-day workshop we will present a framework based upon Transactional Analysis.

By sharing personal and professional experiences we will come to fundamental insights about human behavior in organizations. Themes will be, e.g. creating possibilities for change through effective contracting, life stories and patterns of behavior or our hidden tramway lines that can both help us and sometimes lead us on the wrong tracks, communication and miscommunication, communication and dealing with resistance and power plays. The material follows the curriculum of the internationally recognized Introduction to Transactional Analysis (TA) and delegates will receive the International and European Certificate for successfully completing the 101 (Introductory Workshop).

This certificate is the officially recognized introductory level for anyone wishing to take more advanced training in TA.

It is required in order to become a regular member of the Romania Association for Transactional Analysis, ARAT and is a prerequisite of ongoing TA training.

Workshop Objectives :

1  To develop a framework with which to understand human behavior and interpersonal relationships.
